LAZARUS THEATRE COMPANY is dedicated to producing the best in classical theatre for a modern audience.

 

Artistic Director Ricky Dukes programmes a variety of classical plays by playwrights from William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe and Thomas Kyd to Euripides and Sophocles. Producing plays from the ancient classical world, to early modern dramas and modern classics.

 

I first worked with Ricky and Lazarus Theatre Company on Hecuba at the New Diorama Theatre, as Assistant Director in 2010. At the beginning of 2011, I became Lazarus Theatre's first associate when I was asked to become Associate Director. Since then, I have directed 4 plays and been associate director on 10 other productions.
